Behind the Scenes: Crafting Extraordinary Spaces with Novocastrian

There's something magical that happens when you step into a workshop where creativity breathes life into raw materials. This week, We made the trip to Newcastle, visiting Novocastrian—a metal artisan studio that's so much more than just a fabrication space. It's a living, testament to craftsmanship that runs deeper than mere production. As a designers we have always believed that the most extraordinary interiors tell a story. And, Novocastrian's story is etched into every surface, every curve of metal they touch. Founded by artisans whose roots dig deep into Newcastle's shipbuilding heritage—it's a legacy continued.

Our upcoming collaboration for The Whiteley project, we are collaborating on a bespoke brass bookshelf that isn't just a functional piece of furniture, but a statement, think the jewellery of the study! Custom mirrors through out in various sizes, colours of glass and differing metal finishes. In a world drowning in mass-produced mediocrity, it’s so lovely to have the opportunity to work with like minded creatives. Pure, unapologetic craftsmanship that screams individuality. Every bend, every polish is a middle finger to the mundane—something we've always championed in our design philosophy.
